Technical Audit Q&A

Direct answers to recurring engineering and diligence questions.

// q.and.a
Q01Is ATLAX live?
No. ATLAX is currently a simulation-only prototype.
Q02Are real funds used?
No. There are no real funds, no mainnet trading, and no custody.
Q03What is ATLAX's main positioning?
ATLAX is the first all-in-one institutional-grade market intelligence platform on the XRPL.
Q04Where would contracts be deployed?
Planned first implementation: XRPL EVM Sidechain using Solidity-based settlement and risk contracts.
Q05Is matching on-chain?
Prototype stage: simulated matching. Planned MVP: hybrid model with high-performance matching and on-chain settlement verification. Long-term: progressively verifiable and decentralized matching infrastructure.
Q06Why not put every order match directly in Solidity?
High-frequency order matching directly in smart contracts can be slow and expensive. ATLAX separates high-performance matching from settlement verification and risk enforcement.
Q07What prevents fake fills?
Signature checks, nonce checks, oracle bounds, margin checks, exposure limits, settlement contract validation, public fill logs, and future Merkle-rooted fill batches.
Q08What prevents bad debt?
Initial margin, maintenance margin, liquidation thresholds, max leverage caps, open interest caps, dynamic margin, liquidation engine, and insurance fund.
Q09What happens if oracle data fails?
The protocol design includes staleness checks, price deviation thresholds, TWAP fallback, circuit breakers, reduce-only mode, and liquidation pause logic.
Q10What is non-custodial?
Users retain control of their assets. ATLAX is designed as software and protocol infrastructure, not as a custodian or broker.
Q11What is the moat?
ATLAX Intelligence Engine: liquidation heatmaps, funding regime detection, whale-flow analysis, news impact scoring, oracle health, market stress scoring, and institutional APIs.
Q12What is the next technical milestone?
A Solidity-based XRPL EVM testnet MVP covering collateral, margin, funding, liquidation, oracle validation, settlement verification, matching logs, and risk monitoring.
